Dot Net Developer

The candidate/s should be BE/ Dipl / Bachelors / Masters — in Electronics / Computers / IT with 3 to 5 year experience.
They should be competent in DOT NET, VB SCRIPT, MS SQL DB, database management, SQL queries and optimisation, scripts for SQL, Reports, and allied technology
DB administration, clustering, NLB, failover and administration of DB

1. Basic scope of work is to support in MS SQL database management for MES, IQMS and L2 Systems
2. Engineers should provide responses immediately on raise of concern
3. Coordinate with Product team to manage the Product issues by raising tickets with OEM on behalf of
4. Provide 24/7 support coverage for Priority 1 (critical) incidents
5. During + AM to 6 PM, onsite, and outside these hours, on remote support if needed
6. Resolve issues by leveraging the diverse pool of skilled MS SQL support consultants
7. Conduct periodic review meeting with to discuss the monthly reports and upcoming plans
8. Provide support for MS SQL security alerts, patch updates and other relevant updates
+. Perform Periodic health checks and monitor MS SQL server utilization
10. Optimise expensive or time consuming SQL queries by suitable modification of scripts
11. Performance tuning, including database query optimization and creation of indexes
12. Perform database refresh in the development and testing environments
13. Perform minor enhancements, development of ad-hoc reports and Dashboards as per the new requirements
14. Provide status of all preventive maintenance tasks and checklist as part of Monthly report
15. Provide DBA support services, which shall include Reactive Support and Proactive Monitoring & Maintenance.
16. Daily Health & Proactive Monitoring Checks on Production instance as advised by prime vendors or OEMs who supply software to
17. Patching of Test or Production systems
18. Cloning of Instances

20. Operating System tasks from DBA perspective — except those needing deep expertise of hardware and operating system
21. Maintain database design/release documentation
22. Work with Product teams to enhance the Data warehouse and client reporting solution
23. Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary, troubleshoot and resolve production database issues, ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
24. Ensuring proper back up of database is adequate and able to be recovered in the event of memory loss
25. Recommending changes and improvements for database protection
26. Creating stored procedures for APIs
27. Designing databases to reflect the need of front-end and back-end users
28. Corrective Maintenance — Fix on Fail
