Position - Sr. Software Engineer Java 5-7 Years experience We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our team. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications using Java technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, design solutions, and implement software components

Job Description
• Creative problem solver who’s passionate about building scalable solutions within our SaaS platform
• Should be a fit in an agile innovative team
• Work with Architects, subject matter experts, designers and software engineers to deliver innovative products to our customers
• Design and develop scalable, secure micro-services for our video platform
• Deal with large volumes of data and create systems that scale heavily with growing needs
• Work on enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases, the performance of applications and peer review code changes
• Constantly investigating and implementing new features and methodologies

Qualifications
• Must be a fit within an agile innovative team structure
• Proficiency in a micro-services architecture, asynchronous communication and scalable architectures
• Experience in building large-scale products in technology or startup organisations
• Minimum 5 -7 years of experience with software development in Java, and with data structures/algorithms
• Experience in Java and Spring frameworks. Knowledge of tracing requests across micro-services and profiling is a huge plus
• Proficiency in event-driven architecture using message queues
• Experience with NoSQL databases like Mongo and Cassandra
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase
• knowledge of the Quarkus framework is a huge plus
• Experience maintaining and launching software products
• Experience in a technical leadership role is an advantage
• Software engineering background with a degree in computer science
