Android Architect

We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Architect to join our team and take a leading role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance Android applications.

As an Android Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of Android app development projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities : -

1. Architect and design complex android applications considering factors such as performance , scalability , security and usability

2. Lead and guide android development team in implementing best practices and ensuring adherence to technical standards

3. Conduct code reviews and perform quality assurance activities to maintain code integrity

4. Identify and resolve technical issues , performance bottlenecks and architectural challenges

5. Conduct research and proof of concept projects to evaluate new technologies frameworks and tools for potential integration into android applications

6. Collaborate with product managers , designers and developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architecture

7. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development team promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

2. 8+ years of experience in Android application development

3. Proven experience as an Android Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex Android applications

4. Solid understanding of architecture patterns like MVVM , Dependency Injection Like Hilt , Dagger

5. Solid understanding of mobile app performance optimization techniques , memory management and networking like Leakcanary , Retrofit

6. Proficiency in performance monitoring tools like new relic and firebase

7. Proficiency in using development tools like Android studio , Gradle and version control system like bitbucket and CI / CD

8. Understanding Android concepts like Custom Views, Work Managers and background processing

+. Understanding of app modules and jet pack compose

10. Strong communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to effectively convey technical ideas to both technical and non technical stakeholder
