SQL Database Administrator

Location: TCS - Delhi TCS- Indore
• The MS SQL Database Administrator is a engineer responsible for leading the implementation, planning, coordination, configuration, installation, and ongoing management of the Database Management Systems. The DBA uses technical knowledge to solve business problems, by means of a systematic and disciplined approach. This position employs software, hardware, and/or communication technologies to accomplish assignments. Associate Must have 4-6 years of experience as SQL Administrator with following competencies.
• Experience of Installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance and performance of SQL Server
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
• Good exposure of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server
• Experience of Always on Availability feature (Configuration, Maintenance, Handling)
• Experience of Replication Feature
• Experience of User permission in SQL server.
• Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Work as part of a team and provide 7x24 support when required

Strong SQLServer Database Administration experience.

Experience of managing multiple RDBMS on large systems

Experience of working in a team that delivers a high availability service

Practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service

Required to work in 247 support pattern

Coordinate with various teams for operational effectiveness
