GPS Technician:

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented GPS Technician to join our team. The GPS Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting GPS Devices.

Job description:
• Install, configure, and maintain GPS Devices in vehicles .
• Troubleshoot and repair GPS Devices malfunctions.
• Conduct routine maintenance on GPS Devices to ensure they are working correctly.
• Respond to GPS device related issues and provide technical support to drivers and other staff as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of GPS Devices to identify potential issues and make necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to GPS technology.
• Travel to client locations to install, repair, or maintain GPS Devices as needed.
• Collaborate with the Service oriented team to test, troubleshoot, and implement GPS device related solutions.

Carries out occasional repair work as required
• Prevents problems from occurring in the client site and GPS Device installations in client site.
• Implements the corrective action plans as communicated by the Technical Manager
• Follows the preventive maintenance programm
• Basic knowledge on TMS application and GPS devices

Roles & Responsibilities:

· Compiling geographic information in the form of data.

· Researching and verifying GPS data.

· Ensuring maps are annotated and compiled with the correct information.

· Compiling reports using all available GPS data sources.

· Maintaining the GPS devices and troubleshooting the data issues.

· Traveling to client sites to conduct surveys & Make sure that operations are been running smoothly.

Experience with GPS mapping and data analysis.
