Job Requirements:
• Proven track record as a DBA in both production and development environments large scale data warehouses.
• Highly advanced SQL skills and command of Vertica technology including projections, partitioning, etc.
• Deep understanding of the ETL process, schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience implementing high availability databases, backup/restore and migration processes.
• Ability to size a database and specify the physical configuration of a system
