Job Description
Medhavi Skills University (Sikkim) has been established with the passage of the Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim Act 2021 in the Sikkim State Legislative Assembly on 2+th June 2021. MSU aspires to establish a pioneering university model where corporates/ industries shall be the stakeholders and influencers in course curriculum design, program delivery, practical skills training, as well as, for providing on-the-job apprenticeship, with the following mission and vision.
KRA:
Conduct research and deconstruct our users’ digital interactions and habits.
Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers.
Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
Come up with UI and UX strategies based on our target goals.
Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using {{design and prototyping tools: e.g., Sketch and InVision}}.
Develop back-end website applications.
Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
Test software/website/app to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software/website/app.
Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience
Preferred Background:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field.
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, iOS, Android and Design Systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Salary: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
