trueWorld is a technology platform which connects consumers with nearby service experts in an easy to use chat interface i.e. Think of it like Whatsapp for hyperlocal service needs.

We are looking for an Android Developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits.

Responsibilities
• Design, build and own application for the Android platform
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements
• Must have 1-3 years experience as Android Developer
• Must have published at least one Android app
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs like Google Maps
• Experience with Chat Applications will be a plus
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
