Job Description

This role is focused on supporting the IFS APPS 10 application and its re-configuration through the technical upgrade process.

Qualifications

Any Microsoft Windows Administration, Linux Administration, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals/Administration, Oracle Database/WebLogic, CompTIA, InfoSec, or ITIL qualifications would all be useful but are not mandatory.
General Skills

Experience of supporting or managing critical production systems, especially in the cloud, including a strong awareness of customer-driven priorities and commercial pressures is essential.
Experience working within a strict change management framework.
Confident in following technical and procedural documentation.
Previous experience working with IFS Applications or similar Enterprise Applications (SAP, Infor or Oracle)
Technical Skills

Familiarity with Windows and Linux basic troubleshooting and configuration (mandatory)
Competent with Microsoft PowerShell and scripting within Windows (mandatory)
Previous experience working Oracle (preferable):
Familiarity with Oracle database client.
Testing and troubleshooting connectivity issues to the database.
Ability to stop, start and check the status of Oracle services on both Windows and Linux.
Some previous experience working with Oracle Web Logic middleware.
Basic knowledge of working with Oracle Directories in Windows and Linux.
Exposure to DevOps CI/CD tools – GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, etc. (preferable)
Some experience working with environments hosted in Microsoft Azure. (preferable)
Competent in troubleshooting technical issues (checking log files, analysing output from GitLab, researching vendor forums etc) (mandatory)
Experience

Mandatory
At least 4-5 years’ experience managing Enterprise Applications in cloud computing or enterprise IT service delivery
Troubleshoot Skills
Experience in working with customers
Great communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of cloud computing services or IT service management methodologies and best practices
Value Added
Experience in ITIL, ISO 20000 or a similar service delivery framework
Experience in provision of cloud computing services or IT service delivery
