Yard Manager

Responsibilities:
• Maintenance of all Jetski, Boats, Jackup Jetties and Yard directly under control of the Sr Manager Technical.
• Responsible for implementing technical guidelines and assisting the Sr Manager in the Engineering/ Maintenance aspect of Jetski, Boats, Jackup Jetties and Yard.
• Professionally implement preventive, planned and predictive maintenance practices to maximise operational availability of machines and equipment.
• Adapt and ensure observance of correct operational parameters to optimise operational efficiency of equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis evolving quick breakdown solutions.
• Planning and market survey tendering technical negotiation, price negotiation for arrangement, procurement of spares to ensure availability of reasonable inventory of spares to address maintenance details.
• Supervise Maintenance team and adequately carry out defect rectification, overhauling and testing and tuning of various machineries/ equipment.
• Provide training and technical guidelines on engineering related aspects, periodically.
• Provide effective leadership to the subordinate staff and keep them constantly motivated to secure their undivided focus to deliver superior performances under highly demanding work environments.
• Responsible for administration, safety security and custody of the engineering items/ spares and all log books issued to the maintenance department.
• Responsible for handling a wide range of activities under the domain of human resources Management including training, performance evaluation, planning, staff welfare, disciplinary matters, grievances handling etc.
• Responsible for handling the budget and carrying out local purchases on behalf of the General Manager.
