Web Content Writer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative, analytical and insightful content writer who can manage general as well as technical writing for the software development domain. The candidate will be responsible to work in close coordination with designers and developers for the final drafting of content ensuring the best user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities Required
• Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
• Coordinating with design (UX/UI) team to provide content as per the product/service requirements after evaluating the scenarios.
• Updating and maintaining the technical documentation for the teams reference.
• Developing technical content for blogs, articles, social media, and the company website.
• Evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company's website, and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms.
• Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability at every platform.
• Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.

Mandatory To Have
• Bachelor's/ Masters degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
• Proven content writing/technical writing or copywriting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress, Drupal)
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• A portfolio of published articles.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred To Have
• Experience in technical content writing.
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI content creation.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
