Job Purpose:
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Technology/Operations to lead the overall expansion of Digi Yatra as per the business plan.
The Head of Technology/ Operations will be responsible for enhancing the features and functionalities of the Digi Yatra App, designing, developing, testing, and rolling out Digi Yatra
Identity validation services required by Airports, airlines, and other Digi Yatra partners like hotels, tourism industry, IT parks, etc.
The Head of Technology/Operations will ensure smooth coordination between stakeholders for the management of Digi Yatra Central Ecosystem with its various modules like Biometric ML engine, Hyperledger Aries Go framework, API
ecosystem, interfacing with Airline Departure Control systems, Global Distribution Systems, etc.
Additionally, the development and management of the Digi Yatra, React Native Apps on both iOS and Android platforms will also fall under their responsibility.
Responsibilities:
• Enhance the features and functionalities of the Digi Yatra App to provide an exceptional experience to travelers.
• Design, develop, test, and roll out Digi Yatra Identity validation services required by Airports, airlines, and other Digi Yatra partners like hotels, tourism industry, IT parks, etc.
• Ensure smooth coordination between stakeholders for the management of Digi Yatra Central Ecosystem with its various modules like
o Biometric ML engine,
o Hyperledger Aries Go framework,
o API ecosystem,
o Interfacing with Airline Departure Control systems, Global
Distribution Systems, etc.
• Develop and manage the Digi Yatra, React Native Apps on both iOS and Android platforms. Work with the team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the overall performance of the Digi Yatra technology infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Stay updated with the latest technological developments in the industry and make recommendations to the management team.
Qualifications required:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Preferably 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on airline DCS/ GDS experience.
• Strong fundamental understanding of W3C standards, Self Sovereign Identity, Decentralized Identifiers, Verifiable Credentials, and Distributed Ledger.
• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying large-scale, distributed systems.
• Experience with Hyperledger Aries Go framework, API ecosystem, and interfacing with Airline Departure Control systems, Global Distribution Systems, etc.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a team of developers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience in React Native App development for both iOS and Android platforms.

Important Note:
The Work location/ Office of the DYF is in New Delhi, most likely near Safdarjung Airport, however during the initial few months, since our office is still being setup, we would need you to work from home till the Office is physically ready
