Job Description :

The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for providing technical support for the database environment including assisting the development and organization of the databases and implementation of new technologies. It is extremely important to the company that on - line processing database systems offer the highest reliability and performance possible.

The Senior DBA should have hands - on experience on almost all the DBA activities.

He should be able to lead a team of atleast 3 - 4 members.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Able to work in Shifts if required - Morning, Evening & Night

- Presence in OnCall meetings if required

- Work with Junior DBAs to implement technical solutions

- Able to follow and work with Lead DBAs/Manager collaboratively

- Working in shifts or implementing Change Requests as per company's requirements including weekends

- Creating tickets in Jira for each and every task of the DBA activities

- Advanced knowledge of any Database Architecture

- Understanding about all components of a Database Software

- Working knowledge of all Database Objects

- Setting up Alerts and thresholds for monitoring of Database

- Define roles for User and Access Management with other security implementations

- Reviewing of Database Scripts

- Execute DML/DDL/DCL scripts in the databases including regular Sprint Deployments

- Writing Complex SQLs as per business requirements

- Pro - Active SQL Query optimization

- Help the development team on Database Design

- Patching and Upgrading of Databases

- Regular Database Optimization or Sustenance Activities like partitioning, archiving, housekeeping etc.

- Defining and Implementing Backup Strategy

- Defining and setting up Disaster Recovery Solutions

- Mandatory SkillsSQL Server, MySQL

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹431,71+.61 - ₹1,532,326.11 per year
