Hiring Technical Writers/Sr.Technical Writers - 1 to 8 years exp.

Required Skills:

• Develop comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards. Ability to plan, design, structure, research, write and edit end-user documents (document the application by being a customer advocate).

• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication (both written & verbal) skills in English.

• Exposure to product development – Agile process - (Writers from a service-based industry need to be educated on the Scrum ceremonies and general product development process/procedures).

• Knowledge of Madcap Flare, Microsoft Office, basic image editing tools

• Good understanding of Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC) and SDLC processes.

• Ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft Writing Style guide

• Create flowcharts and other diagrams

• Conform to the Technical Publications documentation standards and best practices.

• Work with senior writers, developers, product managers, and other partners to understand the requirements and scope of product documentation deliverables

• Coordinate document reviews with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

• Update status report to the lead/manager daily.

• Review documentation and share feedback (for Senior TW)

Preferred Skills:

• Technical writing experience in software documentation.

• Working knowledge of DevOps

• Knowledge of topic-based authoring.

• Experience in Application Programming Interface (API) documentation.

• Experience in HTML-based authoring tools.

• Experience in developing or revising UI messages.

Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in English or equivalent.

• Participate in technical and functional review meetings

• Strong commitment to teamwork and willingness to accept responsibility and accountability

• Quickly learn and understand new technical features and concepts with passion.

• Achieve and maintain relevant product knowledge

• Work with minimal supervision and complete tasks on schedule (For Senior TW)

• Capable of working on multiple projects at the same time and prioritizing work appropriately (For Sr. TW)
