Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
·GL Accounting, knowledge on the flow from journal entries to financial statement and its impact.
·Preparation of the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
·Month End Close Process - Accruals and Prepaids: Amortization schedules, future amortization forecasts, classification of a prepaid, monthly and annual roll forwards.
·Experience on Straight line and historical estimation calculations, consideration of accounts payable process to understand how unpaid billings and open purchase orders impact accruals.
·Income statement understanding for expense classification between cost of sales and OPEX.
·Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts.
·Supporting the Auditor, Controller and other financial professionals in their duties as needed.
·produce monthly reports.
·assist with month end closing.
·provide supporting documentation for audits.
Languages:
Fluent in English
Job Experience:
·B.Com/M.Com with an experience of 3 to 5 years.
·knowledge of relevant accounting software (such as Net Suite, Concur, is an added advantage)
·proficient in data entry and management
·Basic knowledge of US GAAP accounting\
·Experience in Microsoft Excel: Pivot table knowledge (Filters and slices), shortcut formulas to disaggregate and manipulate data populations (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, LEN, etc.)

Preferred Availability for 10am-7pm EST hours
