MS SQL Server DBA

Looking for a skilled MS SQL DBA to join a team working on multiple managed services projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform Database Administration and support activities on shared services environment working on multiple projects.

Supporting projects in a 24x7 DBA team working on rotational shifts.

Required Skills:
• Experience in MS SQL Server 2005 / 2008 R2/2012/2014/2016/2026
• Hands on experience in Production support activities and maintenance like
• installations,
• patching,
• performance tuning, optimization
• Backups
• Disaster Recovery
• DB refresh
• Experience in T-SQL Programming in SQL Server.
• Design and developing Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers.
• Experience in creation of Database authentication modes, configuring permissions and assigning roles to users.
• Experience in Creating Scheduled Jobs, Alerts and SQL Mail Agent.
• Experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Experience with configuring pro-active monitoring systems, automation.

Desired Skills:
• T-SQL scripting, shell, python knowledge.
• Azure / AWS Cloud DBA expertise
