Job Description for Splunk Developer cum Admin:
• Mix of Splunk development, Powershell, and automation.
• Working experience in Orion API will be a big plus Work with technology and business teams to understand the application architecture, system interfaces, and monitoring requirements.
• Design and generate parsers to optimize ingestion of data from numerous sources for enterprise applications.
• Bring different data sources into Splunk via different methods including forwarding, application API calls, DB connect, and HEC.
• Analyze and correlate complex data sets to detect abnormal conditions and develop custom searches with Splunk query language.
• Develop advanced Splunk dashboards with HTML, Javascript, and Python to support custom user interactions and visualizations.
• Develop Python/Shell scripts to support automated processes in monitoring.
• Administer Splunk configurations and perform maintenance in a Linux based cluster environment
