• Day to day Database administration and Production Support.
• Use problem and change management tools.
• Support mission critical databases for customer, where any unscheduled downtime will result in major business loss.
• Manage incidents at Customer account.

• Level 2/Leve 3 ticket resolution
• Basic monitoring and tuning
• Backing up and recovering databases
• Basic understanding of database security issues
• Database design
• Good knowledge of DBMS series of packages
• Command over SQL and PL/SQL
• Query & DB Performance tuning experience
• GUI and command line usage
• Should have sound knowledge Oracle RAC / Non-RAC Architecture (SGA/ PGA / Background processes / Physical Logical Structure of database) with parameters settings.
• Should have knowledge / hands-on experience with CDB / PDB such as create, clone & drop.
• Should have hands-on experience of database activities such as Start-up / Shutdown cluster & Standalone DB.
• Monitoring multiple users running sessions, locking / blocking sessions & kill sessions by coordination of application team.
• Should have hands-on experience of RAC / Non-RAC databases such as parameters change, spfile backups.
• Hands-on experience to create datafiles, add datafiles, remove datafiles, resizing datafiles in RAC / Non-RAC databases.
• Hands-on experience to create schema, change schema profiles, password management, tables/schema management.
• Hands-on experience to run scripts in database or schema, experience of gather stats such as DB stats, schema or table / indexes stats.
• Should have hands-on experience with RMAN Backup and knowledge of recovery scenarios.
• Experience in Cloning databases using various methodologies like cold, hot refresh, expdp / impdp and RMAN on different platforms.
• Should have experience/Knowledge to generate AWR, ADDM, ASH, Query running history reports etc.
• Knowledge of Oracle Database Upgrade, Database Clone using RMAN, Data Guard Setup / Switchover and aware of maintenance activities, configure / maintain database processes/services to ensuring high availability with security.
• Experience of Oracle GRID and Client Software Installations.
• Should have experience of Incident Management and Problem Management, RFC Handling Process and Ticket Handling Process with ServiceNow tool.
• Knowledge of Alert setup and Monitoring multiple databases with tools such as OEM, TOAD etc.
• Should have troubleshooting skills such as connectivity issues, Scan /Local listener, password issues, Oracle code compilation issue, fix query plans
• Should have hands-on experience with Unix OS commands
• Should have good communication skills
