the company is looking for full time Database Developer

The Role

Your Responsibilities will include:
• Installing, configuring, upgrading, administering & monitoring the database environment.
• Monitoring & administering Cloud Database (AWS, Azure) and MySQL database systems.
• Optimising database performance and perform regular server maintenance through applying patches and versioning when required.
• Troubleshooting any database related issues.
• MySQL concepts and implementation
• Design, create, and implement database systems that are stable, reliable, and effective based on the end user's requirements.
• Create scripts to build new or modified database objects.
• Develop stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, views etc.
• Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
• Discuss with the client every day, work very closely with every team-member, and implement appropriate database requirements.
• Proactive, great attention to detail results-oriented problem solver. Knowledge In (Good to have but not mandatory):
• AWS concepts (RDS)
• Data warehouse concepts (AWS Redshift, Crawlers, Glue)

Ideal Profile

Skills Required:
• Proven and must have at least 3-5 years of experience working as Database developer or related role.
• Must have extensive hands-on coding experience in SQL Scripts, Stored Procedures, functions, triggers, views etc.
• Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications
• An ability to understand front-end users' requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
• Ability to work with a team in an Agile environment.
• Excellent Communication skills – written and verbal.
• Education: Graduate in Computer Science
• In-depth understanding of RDBMS concepts and constructs
• Ability to optimize stored procedures by running query analyzer tools for better performance
• Ability to develop data models and ERDs.
• Ability to support long term goals along with immediate performance concerns.
