Responsibilities:
• Provide Database Administration incident, request, and change management support following Global Standard Operating Procedures (GSOP), defined support protocols, service level agreements, and escalation processes.
• Managing the backup failure alerts to make sure all the backups are up to date.
• Provide space management support.
• Database refresh for lower environments from production environments as per Project request.
• Password change activities for SSIS jobs to maintain the 3M password policy.
• Deploying replication databases and maintaining database synchronization.
• Resolve Availability Group health issues.
• Provide deadlock reports using Sentry One Client and enable trace files for project members to diagnose application performance issues.
• Service account password change activity as per SQL SME instructions.
• Create a database and allocate database space as per project member request.
• Login account lock failure issues will be handled by coordinating with 3M users.
• Re-run failed Re INDEX jobs and UPDATE STATS jobs during non-business hours.

Experience Required:
• Required 2-5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA supporting stand-alone, failover cluster, and Always On Availability Group configurations.
• Demonstrated ability to grasp and communicate complex system integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to work on projects in a technical environment.
• Experience working in a large environment or on customer-facing applications.
• Experience supporting multiple versions of SQL Server running on various Windows Server versions.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience working with commerce systems/applications/concepts.
• Experience with Cloud, AWS preferred.
• Experience with ODBC connections.
• Bachelor's Degree in information systems or equivalent experience.
