MEAN Stack developer

About the Company: We are a front office product aimed to provide decision-makers with wows and watch out for high-value decisions in the private equity and venture capital space. We are excited to build a product that is a digital-first, data-fueled, and compelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Development of modules, features, and libraries needed for product development roadmap.

• Solving tech problems and level-2 (i.e., non-obvious, challenging) bugs that are based on insight, not just product experience. Troubleshooting and fixing bugs raised by QA teams.

• Perform code reviews and give feedback to colleagues.

• Be part of the Agile team for development activities

• Participate in fine-tuning the software development and unit-testing processes being followed and have a good understanding of adjacent development processes like building pipelines, testing processes, etc.

Experience & Skills Must-Have

• Undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science/technology, or other related fields, with high academic achievement, required; advanced degree preferred

• Must have 4- 8 years of experience building applications using front-end technologies like –Angular 2+, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, and backend technologies like NodeJS, express, Postgres.

• Should have developed Rest full API’, Handled socket connections.

• Working knowledge of version control systems like git.

• Understanding of good system design, reusable components, extensibility.

• Must be obsessed with quality and security concerns.

• Excellent spoken and written communication in English.

• Willing to work in a fast-moving startup.

• Worked independently on development tasks with minimal supervision

Good to Have

• Working experience in a SaaS product company and/or Startup.

• Experience in working in libraries and frameworks such as AmCharts, High Charts, D3.js will be considered a plus

• Experience in No Relational Databases like mongo.

• Working experiences in Cloud (Azure or Similar) and/or Dev-ops tools like Jenkins

• Working knowledge of Microservices or Micro frontends. Working knowledge on docker, k8s, etcs.
