Job Title - Lead - Software Engineering

Build & support Quant product platform to support Asset Management’s Quantitative Research and Investment Technology needs. If you have a passion for working using multiple new technologies on the cloud, this might be the right opportunity for you!

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer who has strong technical background to work with a robust team which supports the Model Management platform.

The Purpose of Your Role

The Lead Software Engineer who has strong technical background to work with a robust team which supports the Quant product development platform.

• You are Involved in development and delivery of high quality, timely and maintainable reporting capability in an Agile environment which meet functional and non-functional business requirements
• You have Experience with matured Agile SCRUM practices
• You know Keeps current with IT blueprint, frameworks and technologies that would benefit us and improve our productivity
• You have to Demonstrates software engineering excellence through continuous integration, continuous deployment, Acceptance Test Driven Development
• You have domain expertise for the functional and technical areas of focus. Shows eagerness to broaden understanding and knowledge of domain and technology
• You have practices and contribute towards innovative solutions to increase efficiency
• You are Highly engaged with the team and a good teammate

The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
• You are proficient in AWS and cloud computing concepts.
• You are proficient in technologies like Java 1.8 or JAVA 11 higher, Spring framework, REST, Oracle SQL, Git, Maven/Jenkins
• Strong exposure to Event driven architecture – Kafka and other data streams
• You have Strong exposure to JS based UI frameworks such Angular
• You are current with the newest technology trends in the industry
• You understand and apply fundamental design principles behind a scalable, low latency, high throughput distributed application
• You know usage of design patterns and their application
• You have good understanding of Asset management business domain will be an advantage
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have continuous out-of-the-box assessment of status-quo and opportunities for improvement
• You are self-motivated with proven ability to effectively work with diverse personalities in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• You have an innovative mindset

AM Tech is an integral partner in setting Asset Management's strategic direction and has shared accountability for achieving Asset Management goals. AM Tech is global organization of technologists based in the United States, London, India and Ireland. Supporting multiple business function in Investment Management and Advisory domain like Portfolio Management, Research & Trading.

• 6+ years of industry experience

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00 pm
