SQL Server DBA

This is a Remote opening for Associate (SQL Server DBA).

Responsibilities:
• Experience in SQL Server Database Administration/Development using MS SQL Server Management Studio 2026, 2017, 2016, 2014, 2012, 2008 R2
• Installing and upgrading the database server and application tools
• Enrolling users and maintaining system security and controlling and monitoring user access to the database
• Assist developers with complex query tuning
• Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database ·
• Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances
• Plan, test and implement migration of SQL Servers
• Backing up and restoring databases and maintaining archived data ·
• Managing and monitoring transactional replication
• Knowledge of T-SQL and writing procedures
• Ready to work on support tickets
• Ready for rotational on-call support (24/7)
• Strong communication skills
• Linux/Unix experience a plus
• Postgres experience a plus
• Knowledge of managing database servers in Azure a plus
