Job Description
Administration of Redhat Linux, Solaris, Cent OS systems
• Hands on Experience on Redhat Virtualization.
• Explore and integrate new technologies, transitioning operations from traditional administration and deployment to infrastructure as application leveraging automation/configuration management technologies.
• Daily maintenance/administration of multiple Unix systems.
• Prepare for new product related releases and assists with new initiatives and upgrades.
• Work with our product development team to implement and support client offerings
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
• Experience with automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef or an equivalent.
• Experience in a high‐availability and mission critical environment

• Experience with SNMP/Nagios based Monitoring.
• Installation, set up, configuration and maintenance of Rack & Chassis Servers, Cisco ACI, and Database Servers.
• Assist in capacity planning and data center buildouts.
• Design and test new computer hardware and equipment to meet customer specifications or in-house project requirements, and participate in all aspects of development from initial planning to production.
• Analyze design plans and project requirement data to create comprehensive testing procedures to verify that components and features operate correctly and meet operational benchmarks.
• Coordinate with developers, project managers, engineering teams and quality assurance personnel to resolve technical issues during development, testing and production.
• Ensure new hardware systems and equipment work correctly with computer software programs according to performance requirements, and modify hardware as necessary to address errors and other concerns.
• OS level networking in a Linux environment (10 / 40 / 100G networks)
• Troubleshooting knowledge of network, routing, Cisco ACI & Data Center Network Connectivity.
• Analyze, design, and implement VLAN, ACL, routing, IP addressing and sub-netting plans for multi-site facilities
• Identifies, designs, and creates controls for ports, protocols, and services across segmented network
• Communicating, reporting and tracking device compliance
• Coordination of ongoing product updates for compliance applications
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Communicate effectively with others both on a technical level and on a business level.
