• Develop a structured business plan covering all critical components of retail operations and maintaining reasonable margins.
• Introduce innovative methods to increase the sale of merchandise, food & beverage, the entertainment zone and all retail activities.
• Initiate changes to improve the business, decide on food and beverages menu, human resources planning, training and team building.
• Promote ropeways as destinations among the public, all prospective consumers, institutions and other prospective business opportunities.
• Review and adjust financial budgets and monitor performance against approved budgets.  Manage and motivate the teams to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
• Analyse daily, weekly and monthly sales figures and forecast future sales volumes to maximise profits.
• Analyse and interpret trends to facilitate planning.
• Use technology to record sales figures and for data analysis and planning.
• Ensure standards for quality, customer service, health, and safety are norms met.
• Follow legal procedures and security issues concerning retail operations.
• Respond to and address customer grievances and capacity to resolve issues.
• Organise special promotions, displays and events to enhance the sales volume.
• Attend and chair meetings and sessions.
• Update colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues
