Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Extensive experience with Oracle 1+c Architecture and database infrastructure design and Oracle 1+c new features
Extensive experience with Oracle Databases including installation, upgrades, online patching, and cloning
Experience managing, starting, and shutting down Oracle RAC environments to support upgrade, patching, and maintenance associated with Oracle databases.
Comprehensive experience with Oracle Multitenancy including the management and maintenance of Container and Pluggable databases
Extensive experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13.4 and higher, including installation, upgrades and patching of the application, database and middleware including WebLogic
Extensive experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Application including management, security, groups, alerts, metric thresholds and scheduling jobs.
Strong hands-on experience with UNIX - Solaris/Linux platform to include the deployment of databases, monitoring and performance tuning.
Strong hands-on experience in the art of performance tuning, utilizing OEM or third party tools to finely tune objects and partitions in Oracle 1+c
Experience automating, scripting and streamlining processes for efficiency and accuracy utilizing Unix shell scripting or other scripting tools
Ability and experience with the development of processes and procedures to standardize Database installations and configuration
Ability to manage database security, users, groups, roles, and permissions.
Extensive experience with implementation and maintenance of Disaster Recovery environments using Data Guard
Comprehensive understanding of Oracle backup methodologies, their implementation via GUI as well as scripts.
Experience with the development of architectural and functional process diagrams for Oracle database services
Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills
Ability to work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions that are highly innovative and ingenious
Experience working with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Business Analysts).
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Experience using Oracle ASM for database storage.
Experience using Exadata.
Experience using AWS RDS.
Installing and upgrading the Oracle Database server and application tools.
Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system.
Creating primary database storage structures (tablespaces) after application developers have designed an application.
Creating primary objects (tables, views, indexes) once application developers have designed an application.
Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers.
Enrolling users and maintaining system security.
Ensuring compliance with Oracle license agreements.
Controlling and monitoring user access to the database.
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.
Planning for backup and recovery of database information.
Maintaining archived data on tape.
Backing up and restoring the database.
