Business Development Executive

Business Development Job Description: Excellent research and articulation skills. Ability to proficiently use spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, etc., and presentation programs like Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc. Ability to understand the creative & digital ecosystem and derive useful insights. What do we need: 2 years of experience in the business development field (agency or brand-side) Strong passion to sell SocialGen’s unique value proposition to potential clients. Obsession with the digital (+ social) media and a desire to effectively convince brands to lead to the amazing experience they can expect as part of the SocialGen's family Key Responsibilities: Actively research new trends, business happenings, and people involved in various businesses to identify areas of opportunity for SocialGen. Reaching out to brands with an inclination or potential to do business with WRM using social platforms like LinkedIn, emails, and lead-building tools. Tracking incoming leads and qualifying them based on internal policies. Studying various businesses, and performing deep research of brands and their marketing strategies. Set up meetings with potential clients and assisting managers to present SocialGen’s unique proposition Liaising with the internal Media Team to track existing lead flow, optimize and improve the quality of leads Gathering requirements from leads (potential clients), making notes during internal meetings, and aiding the pitch process. Actively participating in follow-ups, retargeting and similar activities. Assisting leadership in contract development, handling negotiations, and performing due diligence for business closure. Collaborating with an internal cross-functional team, building innovative and successful case studies and scale proof points. Assisting leadership in contract development, negotiations, and performing due diligence. Ensuring smooth internal business reporting.
