Jr| Mobile Developer| Android

Location: Bhubaneswar – Department: R & D

As a Junior Android developer at a fast-growing, agile startup, our startup will require the person to wear multiple hats. This is a bird’s eye view:

Architect (20% of time)

– You will take lead in architecting how different pieces will work together

– frontend, backend and algorithms.

– Founding team/Founders will value-add their ideas.

Mobile Developer (70% of time)

– You will code and will work with other team members to code.

– You will be working closely with the hardware team member to design the mobile application part.

– Android is a must. iOS is a plus.

– OpenCV, Image Processing a big plus.

Business Intelligence (5% of time)

– The role will require you to make intelligent business decisions to increase user engagement and revenue

– You will be using tools like analytics dashboard and take lead on brainstorming ideas with the team.

Misc (5%)

– It can involve things like occasional user interviews, up-skilling, research on new upcoming technologies and business travel. The job will be challenging, meant for geeks with a passion to work in startups. It will involve inventing things the world has not seen before and rewarding for those who are code-warriors from the heart. Seeing the impact of that piece of code you wrote last night over coffee on some person in a different timezone will be a fulfilling experience, that we can assure you of.
