Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Performing Database cloning, testing and bug fixes
Maintenance, Patching and Upgradation of Product including Application, DB & OS
Creating Bash scripts and Scheduler jobs for automation of jobs in Linux
Performance tuning of DB using Statspack, Stats gathering and Indexing
Code migration from Dev > Test > Pre-Prod > Production using DevOps (Flexdeploy) tool
Monitoring server during production hour including DB performance, I/O, Alerts and Load
Recovery Manager (RMAN) backups, Cold and Hot backup, Import/Export.
Coordinating with Developers for application related issues
Oracle Maintenance: Oracle Wallet, Tablespace size shrink and expand, Backup & Recovery, Grants
AWS Planning: Type of Instance and Volumes, Snapshots
Oracle Cloud: Creating Databases / Compute Instances on Centos 6/7.
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY
✓ Oracle: APEX / ORDS / Oracle-11g (XE, SE, EE) / Oracle-18c XE on CentOS 6 and 7, ASM, RAC, DATA
GUARD
✓ EC2/ Elastic Beanstalk / S3 / SNS / IAM / AWS CLI / Security Groups
✓ Glassfish, Apache & Tomcat Apache
✓ DevOps: Flexdeploy
✓ Monitoring Tools: PRTG, Statspack, Toad, SQL-Developer, Top, Iostat, Netstat
✓ Ticketing tools: Zendesk and Trello
✓ OS patching, Securing SSH, Logs Monitoring, File Permissions, Firewall
✓ Hands on experience on: NFS, VSFTP, SSL, cPanel, Apache SVN
✓ VMware and VirtualBox implementation and maintenance

Salary: ₹245,065.80 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
