Android Developer

Job Summary
• Android developer / Engineer with 2-5 years of relevant experience in designing, building and maintaining high-performance android applications.
• Passionate about technology, solving problems and creating a world-class product.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Design, build and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code for the Android platform.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Integrate backend API with the front-end user interface elements
• Design and implementation of front-end business logic modules and database.

Required Experience and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent, with 2 - 5 years of experience in developing mobile apps on the Android platform.
• Deep understanding of Java/Android application development
• Proven track record of shipping software and successfully released apps on Google Play (please include names and links on your resume)
• Prior exposure to optimize the application for non-functional requirements that includes performance, security and resource optimisation.
• Knowledge of Material design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Knowledge and experience in using data structures and, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Strong understanding over Third Party API/SDK Integration, Push Notifications, and REST Web Services.
