Job Description

Mandatory Skill:
• 7-8 years of Production Application Support

Technical Skills
• Should have hands on application development experience in Oracle forms 6i / Oracle db / Oracle reports 6i
• Should have practiced ITIL methodology for support
• Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills
• Experience working in Agile teams, Process Analysis, Design and Implementation, Business and Technical requirements, System(s) Testing, including UAT and Bug fixes
• Experience working in shifts (24 x 7 Support)
• Oracle Certified Associate, Java Programmer (OCAJP) Desirable
• ITIL Certified Desirable

Roles & Responsibilities
• Production Support for applications
• Develop new features and functionality
• Troubleshoot existing functionality
• Develop and communicate application architecture for new functionality
• Identify and resolve development and technical issues as it pertains to existing software applications
• Meet development deadlines with high level of quality control
• Design technical solutions based on information provided
• Complete Unit test
• Develop test instructions and scripts
• Complete integration testing
• Document code using standard methodology
• Document application architecture
• Document step by step guide for new features and functionality
• Write operational documentation with technical authors
• Complete project reporting requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or information technology from an accredited institution; or equivalent experience
