Role Summary:

We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic Senior BIM/CAD Technician to join the ‘Maritime iCRC’ team in Noida/Bengaluru to work alongside our wider Middle East team.

The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver a variety of projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.

Responsibilities:
• You will be working and supporting on a range of maritime projects to independently develop engineering drawings in accordance with the relevant standards.
• You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and to be active on several projects at any given time.
• You will be contributing to projects that range from masterplanning, concept design and detailed design.
• You will be using Revit, AutoCAD and other design software for the production and development of drawings.
• You will read and adher to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual.
• You will take responsibility for own personal development with the support of line manager and follow an agreed development plan
• You will assist in the development of others in the team
• Communication with design team members and colleagues.

Key Competencies / Skills:

Mandatory Skills:
• Ability to utilise Revit and AutoCAD in adherence to defined CAD standards to develop models, layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layout, design details and other appropriate design concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems.
• Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers basic sketches to full working drawings
• Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production.
• Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple projects with the ability to accurately predict the time required to fulfil the individual scopes of work required.
• Assists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of proper CAD standards and procedures.
• Undertake reviews of work produced by others to ensure high quality of CAD output.
• Maritime project experience
• Proficient in use of standard office software
• Experience of supervising and coordinating the CAD output of others within a multi- disciplinary project environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills
• Experienced in collaboration using a common data environment such as BIM 360 or similar.
• Advanced skills in Revit and Dynamo
• Qualifications
• You will have a ITI or Diploma in Engineering level qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent with 8 years’+ relevant post-graduate experience
• Autodesk AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit user certification
