Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Position Description: Engineering Manager

Qualifications & Experience
• Job experience minimum of 6+ years in embedded system design.
• Strong expertise in Embedded Programming.
• Strong expertise in programming C++
• Experience with Python
• Experience in preparing technical design documentation Experienced user of Mixed Signal Oscilloscope etc.
• Experience with developing and using a simulation environment to test code prior to loading on live hardware Ability to manage project priorities and communicate effectively
• Must be able to work independently and self-motivated
• An understanding of the R&D project process (PLM)

Tasks & responsibilities
• Develop and maintain the code base that drives RFID reader system.
• Participate in Research and Development for new and current products.
• Control the change process including version control and release methodology.
• Maintain Reader Firmware
• Work collaboratively with hardware engineers to optimise circuit layouts and performance. Provide advice to management in relation to technical developments in the field.

What to Bring
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience designing and developing complex, interactive platform
• A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects and bringing in and growing engineering talent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• An entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong program and product management skills
• High adaptability in a dynamic environment
