We are looking for staff who can support the global Corporate Finance teams for one of our Australian based clients (SW Accountants & Advisory Sydney).
Primarily, you will be responsible for providing financial due diligence, valuation, mergers and acquisition, financial modelling and other corporate advisory services to mid-market clients.

Reporting to a Corporate Finance Manager in Hyderabad, you will provide support to your Australian colleagues on a variety of engagements and will also manage small to medium engagements working directly with the Directors. This is a broad corporate finance role providing cross-function exposure to due diligence, valuation and M&A services.

Key activities will include:
• Analysis of financial performance and position of companies - P&L, balance sheets, cash flows, working capital, forecasts
• Research on client industries and preparation of industry overview section to be included in reports
• Preparation of reports for financial due diligence
• Research on market data for valuation analysis
• Preparation of reports valuation engagements - business valuations using CFME and DCF methods; intangible assets, derivatives and other financial assets
• Preparation for investment teasers, deal models and information memorandums for M&A and capital raising mandates
• Preparation and review of data-rooms for M&A transactions and financial due diligence
• Research on comparable companies, buyers lists and acquirer lists for M&A transactions
• Preparation of financial forecast models
• Assist Directors with business development initiatives and market research
• Candidates will also be subject to our internal skills test and profile benchmark assessment.

Required Candidate Profile, Experience, skills and qualifications
• Postgraduate qualification in finance or accounting (CA, MBA, CFA, Master of Applied Finance)
• 3-5 years of relevant post-graduation experience in corporate finance teams - due diligence, valuation or M&A
• Experience in a BPO environment preferred but not essential.
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders
• Experience with Australian accounting, taxation and clients, preferable but not essential
• Good understanding of accounting concepts demonstrated by qualification and experience
• Experience in using databases such as Capital IQ, Merger markets, Bloomberg, FactSet or other similar tools
• Proficient in using Microsoft office suite - PowerPoint, excel and word
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Good report writing skills
• Good understanding of valuation concepts
• The ability to manage and prioritize workflow accordingly
• Have the drive to progress within the firm
• A positive attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong commitment to quality service and client relationships
• Ability to work as a team member
• Flexibility to travel. Passport essential
