Android Developer

The ideal candidate should be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications

The key skills required would be:-

1. Knowledge of Android SDK

2. Knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs

3. Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

5. Knowledge in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

6. Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”

7. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

8. Understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field

2. 2 to 4 years of experience in Android development or relevant experience
