Diesel Mechanic

**SIGN ON BONUS PD AFTER 6 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT**

LOOKING TO HIRE ASAP! Responsible for mechanical preventative maintenance on compressors, generator, pumps, pickup trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, vac trucks, graders, trash trucks, pressure washers and associated equipment. Will diagnose and troubleshoot engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems. Completes suspension and brake work. Perform annual inspections per DOT rules and regulations. Responsible for individual productivity and quality of work.

MUST have an extensive knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, and construction equipment. An Alaskan CDL is required. Must be able to read, understand, and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics. Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

40-hr workweek, with OT optional.
