Bottle Shop Assistant

About the Role We're looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team as a Bottle Shop Assistant. This is a casual/part-time role working predominantly weekends, with shifts finishing up to 7:30pm.

Responsibilities

Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Process sales through the POS system accurately
Assist customers with product selection and recommendations
Receive, unpack and rotate stock
Maintain shelf presentation and ensure products are correctly priced and labelled
Keep the store clean, tidy and well-presented at all times
Comply with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) requirements, including checking ID and refusing service where required
What We're Looking For

Current RSA certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
Availability on weekends, including evenings until 7:30pm
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and a can-do attitude
Physical fitness to handle stock lifting and movement, including cartons weighing up to 15kg
Previous retail or hospitality experience is a plus but not essential
