Crown Glass Ltd. is a growing glass and glazing company serving Burnaby, Vancouver, and the Lower Mainland. We specialize in residential and commercial glass repair and replacement, including windows, doors, storefronts, patio doors, sealed units, emergency board-up services, and strata maintenance work.
We are currently looking for an organized and dependable Dispatcher / Operations Coordinator to join our Burnaby team.
Position Summary
The Dispatcher plays a key role in coordinating daily service operations by scheduling technicians, communicating with customers, managing incoming service requests, and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable handling a fast-paced workload with multiple moving parts throughout the day.
Experience in the glass industry, construction industry, or service dispatching is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch technicians for residential and commercial service calls
Coordinate emergency glass repair and same-day service requests
Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, timelines, and job updates
Work closely with technicians, estimators, suppliers, and management
Enter and manage work orders, invoices, and customer information
Assist with material coordination and service logistics
Monitor technician schedules and job completion status
Handle inbound calls and customer inquiries professionally
Help ensure efficient routing and daily workflow management
Work within Jobber CRM to manage scheduling, job progress, customer information, and workflow coordination
Qualifications
Dispatching or operations coordination experience preferred
Glass industry, construction, trades, or service industry experience strongly preferred
Previous CRM or dispatch software experience preferred
Experience with Jobber CRM is considered a strong asset
Strong communication and multitasking abilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, email, and spreadsheets
Professional and customer-focused attitude
Reliable and detail-oriented

Full-time
Monday to Friday
Occasional after-hours coordination may be required for emergency calls
