Motion Mechanica Picture Support Ltd. is seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on Senior Operations & Equipment Coordinator to play a key role in supporting and maintaining daily operations while ensuring our specialty film equipment fleet is production-ready at all times.

This is a hybrid role combining office coordination with physical shop and yard support. The successful candidate will help oversee equipment readiness, dispatch coordination, inventory organization, and operational workflow in a fast-paced production environment.

This position is well-suited for someone who takes ownership, stays organized under pressure, and enjoys being relied upon as part of a small, hardworking team.

WHAT YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO DO

Operations & Scheduling

Coordinate dispatch of rental equipment and camera crane technicians based on production schedules
Support daily operational workflow to ensure equipment is prepared, organized, and production-ready
Communicate with production teams, clients, and internal crew regarding scheduling and equipment logistics
Manage weekly operational reporting, including active rentals, signed contracts, and scheduling pipeline
Coordinate shipping and receiving logistics, including communication with customs brokers and freight providers
Assist with after-hours operational coordination (when required)
Equipment & Shop Support

Assist the Equipment Maintenance Technician with preparing equipment for upcoming rentals and productions
Help maintain camera cranes, mobile bases, trailers, and support equipment in clean, organized, and production-ready condition
Support equipment check-in/check-out processes, including inspections and condition tracking
Manage and assist with maintenance logs, preventative maintenance schedules, and service tracking
Manage and support annual and ongoing inventory counts and asset tracking
Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing equipment as required
Help maintain clean, organized, and efficient shop, yard, and office environments
Operations Support

Provide operational and administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day workflow
Assist with internal coordination, scheduling updates, and operational documentation
Support accounts receivable follow-up and internal operational tracking
Manage and maintain accurate records related to equipment movement and maintenance activity
What You Bring

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
Comfortable working in both office and hands-on shop environments
Strong work ethic with a proactive and dependable attitude
Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn equipment handling and maintenance processes
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, and rental equipment software
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Compensation & Growth

Salary range: $70,000 – $78,000 annually, based on experience
Full-time position: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM – (with one hour lunch) This is not a work from home position.
Performance-based review after 6 months with opportunity for increased responsibilities and compensation growth
Opportunity to grow within a specialized and unique segment of the film industry
Pay: $70,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
