Student Accounting Clerk – Summer Position

Dirty Laundry Winery is looking for a Student Accounting Clerk to join our team for the summer. This is a great opportunity for a university or college student interested in gaining hands-on experience in accounting, finance, and business operations within a busy winery environment.

The Student Accounting Clerk will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, including daily revenue postings, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory-related functions.

Key Responsibilities

Post daily sales and revenue transactions
Reconcile daily cash, debit, credit card, and other payment activity
Assist with cash management and tip tracking processes
Support accounts receivable tasks
Assist with accounts payable tasks
Help with inventory functions, including reconciliations, counts, and system updates
Assist with month-end preparation and general administrative accounting tasks
Maintain organized records and supporting documentation
Skills & Qualifications

Currently enrolled in, or recently completed, a university or college program in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and learning accounting software
Organized and able to manage recurring daily tasks
Professional, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
Previous office, accounting, or administrative experience is an asset but not required
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
