Job Description
Join us as a senior technician responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) and related electrical/mechanical systems. This role includes team leadership, maintenance planning, and ensuring safe, efficient airport operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair PBBs and industrial electrical/mechanical systems (controls, wiring, components)
• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance
• Lead tasks, support team members, and communicate with customers
• Read manuals, blueprints, and work orders for accurate repairs
• Document work in CMMS and analyze system data for issue resolution
• Operate equipment (forklifts, golf carts, company vehicles)
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain airport/security clearance
• 5+ years maintenance experience
• Flexible to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of PLC systems and airport operations
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Experience with PBBs or conveyance systems
• Familiar with CMMS, spreadsheets, and basic software tools
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
• Lift up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, climbing, bending, and working in tight spaces
• Work outdoors on airport ramps around aircraft and heavy equipment
• Exposure to noise, weather, moving machinery, chemicals, and vibration
• Requires good vision, coordination, and ability to work safely at heights
