Exact Staff is hiring for our client. We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Team Leads to oversee crews for a short-term summer dorm cleaning project in Los Angeles, CA. This leadership role is ideal for individuals with prior custodial or supervisory experience who can guide a team, maintain quality standards, and ensure all assigned dorm rooms are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.

Pay, Schedule, and Location
• Pay: $33.00/hour
• Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (hours subject to change with potential overtime)
• Duration: June 13th–June 17th, 2026 (4 working days; off Sunday 6/14)
• Location: Los Angeles, CA 90024

Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise a team of dorm cleaning staff throughout the project
• Assign daily workloads and ensure team members stay on schedule
• Inspect dorm rooms to confirm all cleaning checklist items are completed to standard
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation
• Support team members with hands-on cleaning as needed
• Communicate clearly with staff and project coordinators regarding progress or issues
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Oversight of Cleaning Duties:
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces and baseboards
• Cleaning light fixtures and room vents
• Vacuuming carpets
• Cleaning and sanitizing dorm room restrooms
• Walking across campus and working on your feet for extended periods

Qualifications:
• Previous janitorial, custodial, or team leadership experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce quality standards
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and remain on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to all scheduled workdays
• Flexibility to work overtime if needed

• As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a drug screen and background check

Pay: $33.00 per hour
