Validation engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain lab test benches, equipment, and overall lab infrastructure.
- Perform bench-level testing on post-silicon prototypes using oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers, and other test equipment.
- Conduct first-level hardware debugging to identify and isolate issues; provide clear documentation of findings.
- Track and manage lab assets and inventory with meticulous organization; ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated.
- Document test procedures and results; clearly communicate issues and findings to engineering teams for prompt resolution.

Qualifications Required:
- 8+ years of experience in electronics hardware testing, lab engineering, or post-silicon validation roles.
- Proficiency with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Strong troubleshooting and first-level debug skills for hardware issues and test failures.
- Experience in lab setup and equipment maintenance, including test bench construction and infrastructure support.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for managing lab assets and records.
- Effective communication skills for technical documentation and issue reporting.
- Bachelors degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Hands-on experience with high-speed I/O (HSIO) protocols (e.g., PCIe, USB) and/or power validation.
