Responsibilities
• Safely operate a tractor-trailer with precision and adherence to all safety regulations
• Load and unload waste materials efficiently using manual handling techniques and mechanical knowledge of different truck types
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
• Drive on designated route to transfer waste from commercial station to landfill while maintaining a timely schedule
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks and secure loads properly to prevent spillage or accidents during transit
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance records
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate daily operations

Requirements
• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial driving environments
• Experience operating heavy equipment, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or tractor-trailers
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic truck inspections and troubleshoot minor issues
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is required
• Prior delivery driver experience in waste management or related industries is highly desirable
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Prior diesel mechanic experience is preferred but not reqhired

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,350.00 per week
