UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
• Wear a clean black hat at all times, facing forward with no bends on the brim.
• Keep hair clean and neatly tucked under the hat.
• Maintain a clean-shaven appearance, with neatly trimmed beards and mustaches allowed.
• Fingernails must always be kept trimmed.
• No jewelry is permitted on ears, face, neck, or wrists.
• No headphones or earbuds allowed.
• Wear a clean, wrinkle-free kitchen shirt tucked in.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follow uniform standards diligently.
• Adhere to preparation and cooking recipes.
• Check the quality of ingredients consistently.
• Maintain organized and clean stations and equipment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate effectively within the team.
• Utilize training on tablets or computers.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to communicate effectively in English and understand recipes and cooking procedures.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense for executing simple tasks and handle standardized situations with minimal variables.

CERTIFICATIONS

Attendance and completion of orientation and training sessions are required to adhere to policies and procedures, including local and state regulations for food safety and service certifications.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role requires regular standing, walking, and use of hands for handling objects. Candidates should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities are necessary, including close and peripheral vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment includes exposure to kitchen fumes, wet areas, and cleaning chemicals. Some locations may have designated smoking areas for guests, which could expose employees to smoke.
