Workshop/ delivery person- on call

Summit Tools/Stratacote is a locally owned business supplying products to contractors and the construction industry. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a person to support the team with workshop jobs and deliveries in an on-call capacity.

Looking for an enthusiastic, cheerful and capable person to join the team, to help in the warehouse, mainly cutting of steel lintels, machine maintenance, and deliveries, which is a great opportunity to go on site and speak with our valued and wonderful customers!

Ideal for someone retired from a farming or equipment maintenance background !
Applicants must be legally allowed to work in New Zealand

Candidates need to -

be fit and able.
have driver license
English speaking
have literacy skills.
be presentable.
be able to work with a small team.
be able to work unsupervised.
be accountable.
be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude
be willing to learn.

Desirable but not essential –
An F endorsement is an advantage - Forklift
