Job description: Optometric Technician. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Optometric Technician to join our growing, patient-focused practice. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow in optical and optical sales while developing strong clinical and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities:
• Perform pre-testing procedures including:
• Auto-refraction
• Tonometry
• Optomap retinal imaging
• Auto-lensometry
• Visual acuity testing
• OCT
• Visual field testing
• Accurately enter clinical data into the electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Assist patients with contact lens insertion and removal training
• Support front desk operations as needed
• Assist in the optical by:
• Helping patients select frames
• Performing frame adjustments
• Learning and confidently recommending eyewear and lens options to enhance patient satisfaction and office sales

Qualifications:
• Previous experience as an Optometric Technician preferred
• Interest in learning optical and optical sales
• Strong communication skills and comfort discussing product benefits with patients
• Proficiency with computers and EMR systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented, compassionate, dependable, and motivated to grow within the practice

Compensation:
• Starting pay is based on experience
