Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area for a Senior Lead Technician at Catalyst Security Group Inc. The Team Senior Lead Technician will perform and oversee the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of structured cabling and security system equipment. Key responsibilities include managing project site activities, installations, supervising team members, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinating with clients and project managers to meet deadlines and objectives. The role also involves installation, providing technical support and training to team members and customers as needed.

Qualifications

Proficiency in installing, all mediums of structured cabling, configuring, and maintaining commercial security systems such as access control, surveillance systems, and intrusion alarms

Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills tailored to identifying and resolving hardware and software issues

Experience in project coordination, team supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, team members, and project managers

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and system schematics

Familiarity with the latest security technologies and industry best practices

High school diploma or equivalent required; certifications in relevant fields (e.g., security systems, low voltage electrical work) are a plus
