Now Hiring: EMT Basic, EMT Advanced, Paramedic, LVN/LPN, or RN for our W. Little York Center.

Salary: Based on licensure and experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct physical exams and establish medical histories to assess donor eligibility.
• Build relationships with donors to ensure satisfaction and trust.
• Maintain strict confidentiality for donors and staff.
• Educate donors on potential hazards and health information.
• Manage donor injuries and adverse events effectively.
• Evaluate medical history and medications to ensure ongoing donor suitability.
• Participate in employee training and administer Hepatitis vaccination programs.

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish. Certified/licensed in your state as an RN, LPN, LVN, Paramedic, or EMT. High school diploma or GED and current CPR certification required.

Key Attributes:
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods (2 to 4 hours daily).
• Proficiency in manual dexterity; frequent hand movement and coordination required.
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. with light lifting of 15 lbs.
• Ability to communicate ideas effectively; listen and understand spoken information.
• Capability to adapt to changing tasks and work independently while following guidelines.
• Maximize safety and health practices in a plasma center environment.
• Exposure to biological materials and laboratory equipment, with personal protective equipment provided.
• Must work in cold environments (below 32 degrees F) when handling plasma.
