June Start - EM Locums - Houston, TX

Aya Locums is seeking an emergency medicine locum physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in Houston, Texas. Coverage is needed beginning in June (or as soon as credentialed) and ongoing for at least 6 months.

Job Details:
• Shift times 6a-6p, or 6p-6a
• Support staff: Standard ED nursing and support staff. L&D located in hospital and separate from ED. Pediatrician on shift in ED during peak hours.
• Patients per shift: 4-5 patients per day
• Patient population: Young and generally healthy
• Trauma Level: Low acuity. This is not a trauma, stroke, or cardiac center. Few EMS.

Requirements:
• Board-Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine (or FM/IM with ER experience)
• Active TX Medical License
• Active ACLS, ATLS, and PALs (if not ABEM)
